What this website collects

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, the kind of project and your message. We use FormSubmit to process the form and email your inquiry to rickg@gregersoncustomhomes.com so we can reply. FormSubmit retains submissions for 30 days; this website does not keep a separate inquiry database.

Like most websites, our server records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, to keep the site secure and working. Our pages run no advertising or analytics trackers. Form submission uses FormSubmit and its spam verification, which may use cookies.

Our pages use Google Fonts, so your browser fetches the typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address when it does. Google describes its handling in the Google Privacy Policy.

How we use it

We use what you send only to answer you and to work with you on your project. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

GCH Bid Drafts and Google account data

GCH Bid Drafts is an internal tool our staff use with their own company Google accounts. It is not offered to the public.

• What it reads. With the account holder's permission it has read-only access to Gmail. It checks message details (sender, recipients, subject and date), and asks Gmail's own search which messages mention one of our projects, including in their attachments, to find bids and quotes that subcontractors and suppliers send for our projects, and the bid invitations we send them. Gmail answers with a list of matching messages; the tool does not open the others. For the bids and invitations it finds, it reads the message and saves its attachments.
• What it is for. Filing bids in our project records and estimates. It cannot send, change or delete email.
• Where it is kept. Message details stay on a company computer, encrypted for the signed-in user. Bid documents are filed in our private project records. An AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) helps us read and file the bids, acting only on our instructions.
• What we never do. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models. People see it only as needed to do this work, for security, or to comply with the law.

GCH Bid Drafts' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

An account holder can remove the tool's access at any time from the third-party connections page of their Google Account.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries, correspondence and bids as long as we need them for the work and for our business records. You can ask us to delete yours.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
